We released an update to our blog starter kits today. This release sees the inclusion of the SexyBookmarks plugin, which allows readers of your blog to share and submit your posts to numerous social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Delicious, StumpleUpon, and Technorati. In all, SexyBookmarks includes a whopping 88 sites that your readers can submit your posts to, and it’s highly customizable to boot. You see those icons at the bottom of this post? That’s SexyBookmarks in action.

There is one other change we made as well: we moved WordPress itself into the root folder instead of its own subdirectory. As pointed out in this WordPress Tavern post reviewing the starter kits, this is the expectation of most users, so we updated the blog starter kits to reflect that.

That’s it for now, but keep an eye out for future updates to the blog starter kits as we have more updates planned in the weeks ahead. And if you think there is a theme or plugin we should be including, let us know.
